F-4 PHANTOM II NAVIGATION COMPUTER CONTROL PANEL

An original U.S. military navigation computer control panel used aboard the legendary McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. This panel allowed the aircrew to enter critical navigation information including aircraft position, target coordinates, magnetic variation, wind direction and wind speed.

Part of the Phantom’s sophisticated navigation system, equipment like this helped crews navigate to their target and return to base during one of the most iconic eras of American military aviation.
